Mouse Painting

So there is this really cool website where all you do is make this abstract paintings with your mouse. The style you use to paint is the dripping, pouring and throwing of paint onto the canvas. It's based off of and dedicated to an artist name Jackson Pollock who painted in the earlier half or the twentieth century. You can read more about him here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jackson_Pollock Anyway this is a crazy fun thing to play around with for a little while so the link to paint is here: http://www.jacksonpollock.org/ Just click on the picture in the middle of the screen to start painting with your mouse then click to change your color, a random color will be selected for you. The slower you move your mouse the heavier or thicker the paint goes on the canvas and the faster you move your mouse the lighter or thinner the paint goes on. There is an example of one I did rather quickly below but I'm sure if you took your time you could make something really extra spectacular!

Figure It Out

This is a picture from Flickr by: lost-in-stereo. It is a sort of perspective view by someone that we all know. Just read this and even if you don't understand it the first time through, you will think it's very funny once you do! It may be a just little hard to read at this size so you'll need to click on it to enlarge it.

The picture is online here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/41457284@N06/3955520042/sizes/o/

Stop-Action Painting Video

Sometimes when you're surfing the web you just find somethings so incredibly amazing or cool or awesome that you want to, need to, have to tell someone. Well I'm going to tell all of you right now. This video is every one of the previously stated adjectives. It's practically indescribable. The time and effort and artistic skill put into it must have been immense and consuming. Just watch it and see what you think.

PhotoBombs

urbandictionary defines photobombing as: "to drop in a photo unexpectedly...to hop in a picture right before it is taken." http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=photobomb I'm sure that anyone who takes a decent number or pictures has experienced a photobomb. Whether it was an accident or on purpose photobombs usually turn out hilarious. Sometimes it's that weird kid at the party picking his nose behind the posing couple. Other times it's almost a kind of sport. Some people go around at social events and try to photobomb as many pictures as possible. Now if you're thinking that's rude. "Why would you want to ruin people's photos on purpose like that?". All I can say is that you need to try it. Most people taking the pictures don't even notice that they were photobombed at the time. It's only later when they are reviewing their pictures that they notice. In my opinion they make the pictures much better. I'm putting some examples of photobombed photos below. Beware before you search for photobombed photos on your own, some of them can get pretty vulgar.
